• *The Soul Winner by C.H. Spurgeon (get an unabridged copy!!)
• *The Brokenhearted Evangelist by Jeremy Walker
• *The Mortification of Sin by John Owen
• The Discipline of Grace by Jerry Bridges (Explains the balance between grace and personal holiness. Well worth reading!)

• Puritan Paperbacks (Abridged, modernized versions of some of the best Puritan writings. I haven’t read them all, by any means, but I’m working my way through them and they have been a real blessing)
