Obedience

Per my friend’s request, I’ve posted a downloadable/printable pdf of our family’s Obedience poster over on our family blog. I thought perhaps parents who read DFTM might be interested. One can’t have too many good tools in the Mommy (or Daddy) toolbox!

Reading over the lists on that poster again today was really convicting. We teach our children to obey with the hope that they will obey the Lord as adults, and as an adult I know that I fall short of obedience to my Lord and Savior in so, so, so many ways. Thank God that He who began a good work in us WILL be faithful to complete it, and thank God the fruit we’re to bear comes from Him – because we simply cannot bear such fruit on our own.

May God be glorified in our lives today, as we strive to obey Him!
