Pondering the question: Do I love Controversy or People? {because this guy nails it. I, too, have “found myself thinking things like this: You’re using the name of the view I hold, but you’re not describing anything like my understanding of it. Only an idiot or a monster would hold it the way you describe it. You know you’re attacking a straw man, right?”}

…I’m reading ~ The Brokenhearted Evangelist by Jeremy Walker and God Sent Revival -The Story of Asahel Nettleton and the Second Great Awakening by J.F. Thornbury

…I’m doing ~ recovering from illness, participating in Thanksgiving festivities, spending extra time with the children

…I’ve been memorizing (or reviewing) ~ Psalm 119 Gimel (v. 17-24)

…I’ve been making ~ the traditional Thanksgiving grub, White Chocolate Peppermint Bark, lists and plans for the rest of the year

…I’m praising God for ~ everything on the Thanksgiving list I posted yesterday…and DayQuil and Kleenex 🙂
