Weekend Links {11/23/12}

Links I was blessed by this week:
Making the Most of the Holidays at The Better Mom {because it’s a good reminder about making God-honoring, meaningful holiday memories as well as being thankful for and with our children on a daily basis}
When we ought not read another word at Deep Roots at Home {because we’re too prone to wander and neglect the God we love}
this Thanksgiving glass video short {because this gives one perspective on thankfulness we ought to be mindful of – and the question really isn’t about whether the glass is half-empty or half-full}
these thoughts on Hospitality Culture at Front Porch Republic {because this guy’s on to something! O that my life would be one bursting with love and hospitality!}
Pondering the question: Do I love Controversy or People? {because this guy nails it. I, too, have “found myself thinking things like this: You’re using the name of the view I hold, but you’re not describing anything like my understanding of it. Only an idiot or a monster would hold it the way you describe it. You know you’re attacking a straw man, right?”}
Also, this video: {because it’s full of convicting, motivating, invigorating Gospel truth!}

Jenni,
I am a first time visitor to your blog and it has already been invigorating and a good challenge to me! I love to see what other women in Christ are writing about, so I will be reading several of your links tonight. Thank you also for sharing Deep Roots At Home. I look forward to getting to know you more 🙂 Blessings, sister!
Hi Jacqueline!
Praise God for what has blessed you here! I appreciate Deep Roots At Home so much. I was introduced to it through a friend of a friend on Facebook, and have been following for several months now. Happy to “meet” you, and look forward to reading more of you as well.
God Bless! 🙂
