On our 10th wedding anniversary…
10 years ago today I pledged my love and the rest of my earthly days to my best friend, and he pledged his to me. He eagerly left bachelorhood behind and came alongside me when I couldn’t possibly be as much of a help to him as he was to me, however hard I might try.
An overnight father of three, there has never been a day he treated our boys as anything but his own sons.
The grace my husband shows me is staggering.
God has used his leadership and loving support like Miracle Grow on my soul, as he has listened to me, challenged me, counseled me, and washed me in the Word (Ephesians 5:25-27).
When I stop to consider all the ways our marriage has blessed me, I am overwhelmed with gratitude and affection towards both my husband and our Lord who brought us together.
May our Lord grant us the grace and strength to continue serving Him together, serving one another, growing together, remembering the blessings, forgiving the failures and shortcomings, and holding fast to the Gospel of Jesus Christ every day.
Happy Anniversary, Babe. I love you more than words can describe.
