"He drew me up from the pit of destruction, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure." Psalm 40:2

Why I’m MIA

Things have been pretty quiet over here (on the blog, anyway – life is anything but quiet in the Burks household). 🙂

I am greatly flattered by all of you who have been checking in and taking the time to read through the posts that are already up. I hope they’ve been a blessing to you.

Our family is in a stage of transition. We’re prayerfully pursuing a business opportunity and exploring the possibility of moving. The larger part of my “extra” time (as in non-homeschool time) is taken up assisting in business administration and preparing to move, so I probably won’t post very often during the month of May. I do still have several posts in process that I will publish as they are completed.

Thank you for understanding 🙂

I was wondering where you had been 🙂 We’ll be praying for your family during this time of transition.

Life is anything but quiet for the slave. We are always in a state of move with God. may God’s peace, guidance and wisdom perfect everything that you prayerfully decide to do.

Thanks, guys 🙂 Your prayers are greatly appreciated. It’s so exciting to see God’s sovereign hand at work, moving us in ways we would have never planned. Truly a man’s heart devises/plans his way: but the LORD directs his steps.
